Wow. This one really blew me away. Read it in 48 hours and can\'t stop thinking about the mother and daughter characters. This could be any one of us searching for what\'s next after we have done it all perfectly by the book and ended up empty. Truly a wake up call for all women of our generation.

Hi Elizabeth,
Your book is fabulous!!!!! I hope there will be a sequel. I am going to recommend reading it for our book club. We are the Midwest Goddesses.
I could relate to this book on so many levels.

I just wanted to say that I just finished reading Me and Emma. It's the first one of your books that I have read. I absolutely loved it. It was beautifully written. I had tears in my eyes most of the book and then the next moment I would be smiling. The ending was wonderful and surprising and I love the way that it was just the last chapter that explained Emma and not the whole book. I will be reading all of your books now.

I have read all of your books (except sleeping in daylight)and love all of them however Me & Emma is my all time favorite of any book I have ever read!!! Someone recently told me that Me & Emma was also a movie! Is this true? Please let me know that would be a MUST have for me.

I saw your book S. I. D., but I had to tell you I think you are beautiful. If you are back to S. F. I would love to meet you for my favorite eats at Cordon Blue on California Street. I hope we all see one of your writings as a film.

Linda Knadler wrote:

I loved, loved, loved this book. I cried so much at the end. Growing up in a family with similar problems (which also led to tragic results), I found this book to be very realistic at portraying what such families are like, and how easy it is for the parents of such families to ignore serious problems until it's too late.
